Wow I have not posted in a long time gotta work on that!!! Well summer is almost over back to school Sept 8. We have had a wonderful year back in California. California has always been a good fit for our family and we are sure of that now!!!! We have had a visit from Nana this summer, she came for the end of school and helped celebrate Thalias Kindergarten Graduation!!! We went to the beach, the zoo a few parties it was great! We have had the coolest summer in 20 years in San Clemente, which means our water is really cold so we have not spent as much time at the beach this summer. We are wimps and prefer the heated pool!!! We have done alot this summer, its amazing that even when you dont take a "vacation" when I look back we still had an awesome summer!! Heres some pics of our summer!! Miss you all
July 4th we spent the day at the beach we had friends come and hang for the day. Thalia sported some patriotic zinc oxide!!!
We finally made a trip to the Getty Center I dont know what we where waiting for the kids loved it. All of our children are really artistic and love the Los Angeles art museum . This is a beautiful way to spend the day the art and grounds are awesome
Balboa island made a fun day trip with our friends the Fowlers! We rode the ferry over played arcade games had ice cream and frozen bananas
We have a few summer festivals here in town We celebrated ocean fest in July and then in August is Fiesta The kids became banditos and Josh enjoyed the salsa tasting
To end the summer we made use of our L A Zoo passes as you can see Dr. Dan in the discovery center helping an Emu
We rode horses in Griffith Park
And ended the night at the Hollywood Bowl we saw John Williams and the LA Philharmonic perform Music of the movies!!! It was great
